After the success of the last presentation in the Collegeville and Trappe PA area, another event on the nutritional value of vitamin supplemnts has been scheduled for Tuesday evening of 27 November 2007.  Registration will begin at 7:15pm with the presentation starting promptly at 7:45pm.  A Q&A session will be held after the presentation and typically the entire event takes about an hour.

These presentations cover the benefits of nutritional vitamins, the importance of taking a vitamin supplement, and a variety of health conditions such as asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes, and cancer.   These types of events do not prescribe any medications or diagnose any illness but they are an excellent way to obtain information about alternative and preventive health care.  The discussions that often occur just after these meetings are terrific as you meet a number of people in the wellness industry and find out what has worked for people taking supplements.

If you are interested in attending contact me (see my bio) for directions to Total Body Wellness, Trappe PA (you can also use Google or MapQuest).  You can also read more about various liquid vitamin supplements including complete articles on preventive health and wellness care.  I hope to see some of our readers at this event on Tuesday, November 27th in Trappe, PA.

  1. Ronald Says:

The meeting started promptly at 7:45pm as advertised and completed about an hour later. The 25 minute presentation covered the benefits of nutrtional supplements as well as the company (Life Force International) that makes them. It was pointed out during the meeting that Life Force is one of the few companies that does their own processing. Most other companies buy from large vitamin factories. Life Force cold processes their supplements which does a couple of things:
    1. Cold processing keeps the enzimes, amino acids, and other nutrients alive. It’s like going down the fruit and vegetable isle at the grocery store and eating everything in sight versus going down the canned and frozen food isle where all the fruits and vegetables have been processed and are lower in nutritional content.
    2. Making their own nutritional supplement means they have complete control over the quality of the product. It was pointed out during the meeting that Life Force has a pharmacetical grade certification - that means quality in the ingredients, the preparation process, and the training that each person in the processing facility receives.

A Q&A session afterward covered the other nutritional products that Life Force provides and taught us how to compare one supplement versus another. To make the comparison, take the data sheets from both supplements. Select a nutritent in one and see if it is in the other. If they are in both, line both of them off the list. Continue until you can determine which has the most nutrients. You’re looking for a nutritional supplement that is nutrient dense (more than 100 vitamins, minerals, glyconutrients, etc. in a single dose) - otherwise you are wasting money and not getting the maximum benefits for your body.

Attending these types of seminars, and there are a few of them that highlight a variety of products, provides us with a forum to discuss preventitive health care and how we can best take care of our bodies so that we can live well.
